Grand Slam Pellet Grill and Smoker - American Made

PLEASE READ!:

Ive owned two different brands of pellet smokers before buying my first mgrills product. both are commonly bought at big box stores. My most recent grill was the most common pellet grill on the market that starts with a "T" and bought at Costco. This grill's performance was good and I thought the performance of pellet smokers couldn't get much better, but their construction would be better the more you paid, boy was I wrong.
Not only was the construction quality, fit and finish far superior, the performance is night and day better than anything ive owned. The ignitor is much larger and gets hotter quicker leading to super fast ignition. The electronic controller pairs seamlessly with the wifi unit, and works better than its competitors. The solid stainless grates are easy to clean and allow your spatula to glide on them very easily. The multiple shelves allow me to cook two wood fired pizzas at the same time. Oh and this unit it QUIET! The felt on the lid insulates all the noise from the typical jet engine noise you get from all pellet smoker burnpots, the fan is about all you hear and even that is quiet.

Absolutely nothing on the market feels as solid, is better built, and has excellent features like the slide out burn pot like this smoker. Nothing on the market from the big brands from the big box stores can compare with the quality of its construction. If a competitor massed produced something like this in china it would simply sink the container ship.. i'm pretty sure about that. Anyways did you happen to see its American made?

I do want to make something clear; the cooking area on this smaller unit is impressive, however if you're someone who cooks lots of smaller items that need to be touched from time to time, the lid on this unit only exposes the front of the cook area, and not the sides. if you have something in the rear that you need to get at, between the shelves and sides of the grill being in the way it can be cumbersome. This is because of course without the solid sides you wouldn't have room to mount the rails for the multiple full depth shelves. (a con I am happy to have). This is nothing I am complaining about, but if you are someone who needs to get to something in the back frequently with tongs or a spatula easily, buy the GridIron. Its not much more money for something more ergonomic.
